At the bottom of this page you will find a checkerboard. Every donation that you make will reveal a piece of the images that lie beneath the squares. As the number of donations increases, more and more of the mosaic of images will be exposed. (see animation at left). When all of the images are visible, the project will be approaching completion. Long before our financial goal is attained, we will be in Mali laying the groundwork with the local people. We will report to you through photographs, videos and blog keeping you updated on the progress we are making. (see the Multimedia section). TOGETHER, we can make a difference!
Each block costs $25 US or $50 US for a onetime purchase. You may also choose to buy several image-blocks or decide to become a regular sponsor making quarterly payments ranging from $25 US to $100 US or more. All transactions are secured and confidential as these are processed by a third party provider. You can put an end to your sponsorship at any time. Finally, you will have the option to display your name or the name of your company as well as a picture or logo in our guest book. A $25 US contribution per person is a relatively small amount that would make a big difference in our fundraising, as each and every dollar counts!
There is, however, an additional and essential condition to your sponsorship, one without which, we could not collect sufficient funds. If you decide to help us, we will ask you to share this website and speak about it with two other potential sponsors, two people who are also likely to financially help with this project. No obligation or commitment will be required from you that these two people will help us. It is obviously the goal, and it would be great if these new friends decide to take part in our effort. But if they don’t, they can still tell others about our Non Governmental Humanitarian Organisation - ASDA-ADDA, give the URL address of this website and hopefully find two new contacts.
